A broken laptop screen is one of the most common repairs we do. Most of the time the panel itself has failed and a new one fixes it completely. Sometimes it hasn't: a loose display cable, a failed backlight or a graphics fault can look exactly like a broken screen. We check which it is before you pay for a new panel.

Screens differ more than people expect, even within one model: resolution, touch or non-touch, refresh rate, the connector. We match the exact panel your laptop takes, not just one that fits.

Signs it's the screen

  • Cracked glass, or a black or coloured patch that spreads
  • Vertical or horizontal lines across the picture
  • Black screen while the laptop is clearly on: lights, fan, sound
  • Flickering, especially when you move the lid
  • A very dim picture you can only make out with a torch, usually the backlight
  • Touch not responding on a touchscreen laptop

What affects the price

  • The panel: resolution, touch, refresh rate, matte or glossy
  • Whether that panel is in Lebanon or has to be brought in
  • Whether the glass is bonded to the panel, as on many touchscreens and thin laptops, which means replacing the whole assembly
  • Whether the lid or hinges were damaged in the same fall

How much does a laptop screen replacement cost in Lebanon?
It depends almost entirely on the panel your model takes, and panel prices here move with supply and the exchange rate, so we don't publish a price list. Send us the model on WhatsApp and we'll give you a range, then a fixed price once we've seen the laptop.
Is it worth replacing the screen, or should I buy a new laptop?
For most laptops a few years old, a new screen costs far less than a new laptop. On older or cheaper machines the screen can cost close to what the laptop is worth. If that's the case we'll say so, and show you what we have in stock instead.
Can I keep using a laptop with a cracked screen?
With an external monitor, yes. Without one, cracks tend to spread, and pressing on the damaged area can damage the panel's connector. Back up your files either way.
Will I lose my files?
No. A screen replacement doesn't touch the drive, so your files stay exactly as they are.
