Laptop battery replacement

Laptop batteries wear out. After a few hundred charge cycles they hold noticeably less, and eventually the laptop only runs while plugged in. That's normal, and a new battery brings the runtime back.

Before replacing anything, we check the battery's health and the charging circuit. A laptop that won't charge can have a perfectly good battery and a failed charger, port or charging chip, and a new battery won't fix any of those.

Questions people ask

My laptop battery is swollen. Is it dangerous?
Yes, take it seriously. A swollen lithium battery can catch fire if it's punctured or bent. Stop charging it, don't press on it, and bring it in as soon as you can. We'll take it out safely even if you decide not to replace it.
How much does a laptop battery cost in Lebanon?

Original or compatible battery?
Original batteries aren't always available here, and some sold as original aren't. We tell you exactly what we're fitting, and we don't fit batteries we wouldn't put in our own laptops.
Why does my laptop die when it still shows charge?
Usually a worn battery that can no longer deliver power under load. Sometimes the reading is just off and a full charge cycle fixes it. We check which before you spend anything.
